Wow. I finally made a point of listening to a Toronto Mike'd, only to find I'd been shunned as the only guy that didn't get his question asked. That hurts, Mike. That hurts. :(

@Corey

I was going to ask your question, but I know for the most part the guys let their guests go and go and go. But sometimes there's a guest they're not feeling, so they'll cut them off.

Trust me, when they have a good guest and it's entertaining, they don't cut him/her off except for those terrestrial radio breaks.

@ Mike - I might've accepted that answer, except in this case, Fred commented (twice I think) that he wished they could spend more time with her. When there's a dud guest, they're not shy about letting the listeners know after the segment about how they felt about the person. This wasn't the case - she was well spoken and had some interesting views.

@Corey

They sometimes have guests on 4 or 5 times. How many times have they had Adam Growe or Alan Cross on? How many hours have they filled with that god guy?

And I'm still hurt that this is the first episode you've listened to after 34 of them. :(

Just finished listening to the podcast Mike and I thought is was outstanding.
Refreshing to get straight forward honest answers to the questions.
Good for you and Freddie P. for doing this.

Good show...I'll try to make a better effort to listen to you and H&F in the future now that I have a new laptop...

Glad to hear that there is no feud between Fred and Blundell show (he does sound upset though)...I recall the build-up on Canadian Thinker about hosting /co-hosting and then suddenly nothing

@Wayner

That was a dick move inviting Fred to co-host and not telling him they were taking vacay. Fred almost showed up for the shift on Monday morning. That's so uncool.

Probably Ross Winters' bad though... not Dean's.

Now, of course, all of Corus is feuding with H+F.

@ Corey, agreed, seems that Howard gets bored and cuts the interview short. Fred posed a few good questions, but it did seem to be cut off quickly.

Mike, did not get a chance to send a question in advance. I was really hoping you would ask him to explain how he went from being asked to be Mike Stafford's best man to being told he was no longer best man and not even invited to the wedding.

@Corrado: They have been teasing us with that one for months.

I know the story, but it's not my place to tell it. Fred's ready to tell it... I'm sure he will soon.

The fact is, there's no smoking gun. There's no exciting moment to speak of... but I'll let Fred tell it.

Got a chance to listen to the interview today, the hour plus went very quickly. Glad you really didn't get into the politics of Rob Ford or Harper, would have upset the balance in good interview.
Not being in the radio biz, I am always curious of the back stories like Freddie P's, Howard's and how they are all thrown together, to make things work.
