I've been listening to a lot of Beastie Boys since learning about Adam Yauch's passing. I've also been watching footage of the Beasties, but my favourite clip so far is this unaired performance for Dave Chappelle's show.
This was filmed for the 3rd season of Chappelle's Show which never happened. Instead of recording a 3rd season, Chappelle took off for South Africa, but not before dropping this gem on his audience.
You know why my show is good? Because the network officials say you're not smart enough to get what I'm doing, and every day I fight for you. I tell them how smart you are. Turns out, I was wrong. You people are stupid.
