His name is Max and he's a retired police dog who was forced to retire with arthritis. His hip, back and leg problems made walking difficult, so now he's got his own chariot.

Nice photo.
Indeed, if only humans were more like animals and had a better appreciation of what we do have, instead of what we don't. He's been dealt a tough blow but he still seems as happy as can be.
And best of all, he gets to walk around in public without pants. Lucky bastard.
