In MemoriumBob Laine was 72. He was a radio broadcasting legend at CHUM known as "The Voice" whose signature opening was "Good morning world, this is Bob-O. Good morning Bob-O, this is world."

I remember him vaguely though. I remember hearing him when I was a little kid. Don't remember that line. I think he was on days for a little while after he did all nights for a while.

One of the Icons of DeeJays in Toronto on CHUM AM in the 60's-70's.

An incredible man, to be sure. Taught at Seneca College in his last years and set us punk ass bitches straight and told it like it is. Was? Rest in peace, bob-o.
