My Go-To Mr. Freeze Kisko Freezie Flavour

Published by Toronto Mike on August 15, 2010 @ 18:47 in Miscellaneous

foodI just saw @blogesalming complaining about all the orange flavoured Popsicles in the box he just opened. I'm not an orange fan myself. My go-to Popsicle flavour is grape, or "purple" as I call it.

We buy these big boxes of Mr. Freeze Kisko Freezies. The box contains the following flavours:

  • grape
  • cream soda
  • watermelon
  • cherry
  • orange
  • blue raspberry

When the box comes in, daddy goes straight to grape. Always. I'll ride the grape train until they're gone, then I'll reluctantly switch to cream soda, or "white" as I like to call it.

Still hankering for the Wink flavour that they used to package as part of the C-Plus set.
Oh how I miss Wink...

White is my favourite and yet I hate cream soda as a beverage. Odd.

Blue, then white then cherry.

One of the benefits of moving to the UK is that grape as a flavour does not exist here. if it's purple, it's blackcurrant - which is also disgusting ;)

Don't like freezies. don't eat them. They're hard to get out of the tube-like things. Give me something on a stick any day. Doesn't matter what flavour. I wouldn't know before I eat it anyway as I am blind and can't see colours or anything else.

does anyone remember getting pudding 'freezies' in the early-mid 80s? they weren't jello (sorry Mr. Cosby), but i remember buying them at Beckers, and they came in chocolate, strawberry and a light brown (probably caramel?).

Yes the pudding but I am rememberin something by KISKO that were like a giant fat freezie on one side and straw on the left side you cut the top of the package and tried to suck the freezie on the right with the straw.............anyone?

I totally remember buying the giant fat freezies with the straw on the side part. I think they were 75 cents while the regular jumbo freezies were a quarter.
