Throughout much of the past year - too much info - I've been waking fitfully during mid-sleep, and/or ahead of the alarm time. Either it's a bad dream I refuse to sleep to or a good dream I cannot accept.

I'm never in long enough to get through 1 tune. As most with guys...in/out in 3 minutes flat.

Ya know, I want to word this correctly without sounding like I "like" you, but I'm sure I won't succeed, so here goes: Since I've discovered your blog, one reason I keep checking in is your overall content. Good stuff. However, another is, I've seen some very similar likenesses between us like age, the internet, music, hockey, baseball, etc..... NOW THIS???

Please allow a few more minutes of your time: I pretty much don't want to do anything anywhere without music around. Since I was a kid at home, I've had a radio in my bathroom. A REAL radio and depending on the year it was either a boom box I lugged back and forth or a mini-stereo with speakers on a shelf. I'd pop in a CD, listen to whatever one of my sports teams was playing or just settle on an FM station. Then I bought a house and there was no room for it anymore, according to my wife. Flash forward to about 5 years now (which seems to be your average) and it's pretty much shot; I dropped it once and one speaker is hanging by a wire, it's yellowing, etc.
I have recently gutted my bathroom and was thisclose to building a space right in the walls for a new radio of some kind but, again, no dice. I like harmony in the household and I try and pick my spots wisely, so the bathroom's almost done and I'm in the market for a new one. Any suggestions?

I actually just recently started to put a radio in my bathroom to listen to while I shower.

Nothing like waking up on Sunday morning and enjoying some CFRB Sunday morning trivia while I shower!

I used to listen to music in the shower whenever I could, but not so much anymore. Now I mostly just think as I listen to the sound of the water falling. But what I've really grown to like more and more over the years are bathrooms with fans in them. There's something peaceful about the sound of one, it relaxes me.

I must be doing something wrong compared to you guys, because every time i bring my radio into the shower i get a painful electrical shock, so i've stopped doing that.

I never put a radio in the shower. I'll put my stereo on. I have a couple speakers in the bathroom and I'll listen to my big pile of MP3s. I don't listen to radio much anymore. Radio isn't like it used to be.

I used to have a wicked shower stall in a basement where I ran speaker wire from my pc to speakers I had cleverly poked away above the shower.

I sometimes like to have it; like to sing along sometimes. Other times, I'm just not in the mood for it. I had no idea that you can just install a radio right in your shower, I always plug my radio in outside the shower and crank it. If I ever listen to the radio in the shower, it's on Y108, for "40 minutes +" commercial free, cause I take a while in there. Sometimes the rock helps me to not be so long.
