Chis Bosh: 7 Years, 3 Playoff Wins

basketballI've already said goodbye to Chris Bosh. There was no doubt he'd sign elsewhere. His announcement today that he's joining Dwyane Wade‎ in Miami makes it official, but it's hardly a surprise.

I should preface the following by admitting I liked Chris Bosh. I liked him a lot. He was our best Raptor for 7 years, and unlike Vince Carter, he never quit on us. He'd rub me the wrong way with his album promos and DVD sales pitches, but he was a bona fide all-star and he was ours.

But with Chris Bosh as our leader these past seven seasons, our Toronto Raptors won a grand total of 3 playoff games. That's it. 7 years, 3 playoff victories.

It's a good thing Miami still has Dwyane Wade‎.

CB4 is much different than VC. He never bad mouthed Toronto & gave his heart every game. I equate this with Doc leaving for greener grass elsewhere.
Good Luck Chris. I'm sure your heart & soul is still with Toronto as you want a winner & Raptors are not there & won't be for a while.

So what do the Raptors get back for this...nothing? If so, why are we thanking CB4??

@Hector, welcome to the business of NBA. The Raps get nothing but why do we blame Chris? He doesn't have an obligation to do anything other than play his ass off every time he is on the court or asked to by his coach. It was very poor management.

@Mike, Bosh is a phenomenal player and will easily help a good team to win a championship by putting them well over the top. The Raps never game him much help and one man cannot win playoff series.........

Toronto teams (Jays, Leafs Argos & Raps) today continue to look for that one franchise player that will take the team to the finals...if you go back to the world series Jays it was never just one player but a group of players that won the series (a team?). Unfortunately, a winning team takes time to build...and no one has the patience

Wayner... the world series winning jays didn't take time to build, they took money. I believe 92,93 was the last time the jays had a payroll anywhere near that of the yankees and sox. That's why they won back2back. Leafs tried building a championship that way too in the early 90s; but came up short.

Good riddance....I love Van Gundy's comments yesterday - "Bosh is Wades lapdog"

Dave...time, talent and money (throw in some good management)is required. Previous Yankee teams have shown that money alone cannot buy a championship...and neither can one single player no matter how good they may be.
