I hate CTV's coverage of the Olympics. I hope the rumors are true and that CBC will regain the rights to the broadcast. They take commercial breaks at the most inappropriate times. They have a bunch of douche bag muchmusic "vjs" at the Olympics, "drop your gear for beer" are you f**king kidding me. The "I believe" song is mind numbing, I've heard it so many times and it's only day 3. And is it really necessary to continuously run the Olympic ads i'm sure everyone is well aware that CTV is broadcasting the game, we were well informed during the Superbowl .Can you tell i despise CTV's coverage? :D

Does anyone know why there are no medal presentations after the event? Please don't tell me it's because the medals are not finished yet!

I think that the next night, when they're rested and ready, there is a medal presentation ceremony for all athletes. At the event itself there's flower presentation.

Speaking of inappropriate Much vj's offering coverage, I heard one say "...instead of the 'quest for gold', it's 'the quest for golden showers'".

This MuchMusic commentary is only happening on MuchMusic, right?

I'd argue that if you go to MuchMusic for your Olympic coverage, you get what you deserve.

I cannot believe the medal presentation is the next night. Can you imagine winning the Stanley Cup and being handed some flowers. "Oh, you get the cup tomorrow night".

This is awful and really takes away from the moment. I cannot believe the IOC went along with this ridiculous idea.
