Canada Wins Gold and Silver in Women's Bobsled

Canada has earned its 14th and 15th medal at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.
Heather Moyse and Kaillie Humphries in Canada 1 won gold in women's two-man bobsleigh.
Helen Upperton and Shelley-Ann Brown in Canada 2 won silver in women's two-man bobsleigh.

I will retain several memories of true Olympic spirit shown by competing athletes who high fived and
hugged each other. Even when
their personal performances were overshadowed and their
medal hopes had been dashed.
I will also remember that although we had the unprecedented win by two Canadian Bobsled teams in the same event, no exchanges like the ones shown by athletes of
different nationality took place. Not immediately after the event or at the medal
presentation. Disapointing.
