Louis CK is Funny, But You Already Know That

If you like funny, you like Louis CK. I'm not sure there's a funnier guy out there right now.
I've been a big fan of his for a while. Heck, I even enjoyed his very short lived HBO sitcom Lucky Louie. From the "better late than never" pile, I finally saw his 2007 HBO comedy special "Louis C.K.: Shameless". And yes, it was funny, but you already know that.
He opened with a little bit "Tell Your Girlfriend I Said Thanks". NSFW!

Down Goes Brown

Louis CK isn't "funny". Bill Burr is funny. Greg Giraldo is funny. Patton Oswalt is funny.
Louis CK transcends funny. He's the best standup working today. Easily.
Shamless was good. Chewed Up was better. I saw him here in Ottawa, doing material that will presumably be his next hour-long special, and it may end up being even better than the others.
If he ever comes to your town, see him. He's in his prime, and right now he's the closest we've had in the last decade to being in the Carlin Zone.
