Maple Leafs 0, Sabres 3

leafsDo Leaf shooters simply make opposing goaltenders look good or do opposing goalies save their best stuff for the centre of the universe?

Ryan Miller was awesome last night, making 38 saves to register the first shutout against us this season.

25 games in, we've got 19 points and sit in 14th place in the East, 5 points out of 13th. I'm calling it...

I would like for you to do me a favour tonight and not make any twitters about the game until it is finished. If you take a look back at your history you'll notice that you seem to be a bit of jinx.

In the last two Mondays the Leafs have had 99 shots and 3 goals to show for it.

I think that says it all.

Calling it a bit late are we not? The Laffs were dead 16 games into the season when they needed to go 44-22 (22 games over .500) to get to 92 points. Don't despair though, the Laff's misfortunes are other people fortunes. Enjoy the view from below!
