Avatar Review

Movie ReviewAvatar: 9 out of 10.

We'll keep this review brief.

Avatar is as good as you've heard, if not better. You're essentially drawn into an alien world and you're not released for 162 minutes. And then you're sorry you have to leave.

I tried to see it in IMAX 3D, but it's sold out until May. Just see it in regular 3D. It's sensory overload as it is, IMAX might kill you.

When I saw the trailer, I wasn't sold at all. When I saw the glowing reviews and occasional criticism, I wasn't sold. However, went to randomly see it last night and was blown away. Highly recommend this movie, especially in 3D (IMAX was sold out for us too).

I saw it in 3D at the AMC in Whitby yesterday, no reservations required, though it wasn't IMAX. Alas, got there a little later than I wanted and ended up with seats too close to the front and off to the side. That may have been why I found the 3D a little hard on the eyes, and ended up with a headache later. Still worth it though.

The story was derivative of a collection of other works, but that didn't detract from the experience. A wonderfully moving picture.

Please. It's all CGI but the actual writing and story line is lacklustre.

The story is lacklustre, and it's still a 9. That's how awesome Avatar is.

It's gorgeous. The creation of that world, the plant life, the ship’s technology, and the animals is extraordinary.

I want to see it again, just so I can focus on Pandora.

I finally saw it last night and have just one word, "Wow."

Avatar was a great movie, I just watched it a few day ago. I don't usually go to the theather because I get nervious around a lot people but I think I'll give this one a shot because people are saying that it's even better on the big screen, I think it might be in 3D. You can watch it at my new website.
