Maple Leafs 2, Senators 3

Published by Toronto Mike on November 18, 2009 @ 08:38 in Toronto Maple Leafs

leafsThe Leafs have surrendered the first goal in 17 of 19 games this season. That's a big reason why we're 3-11-5.

Did I just write 3-11-5? Three wins in 19 games? Are we really losing 84% of our games?

New rule: pass the puck to Kessel, get out of the way and pray.

The only good thing about this is that it has silenced the loud mouth and arrogant Burke.

It was a fun time game to watch. Great fights, Minus the Carkner / Orr fight ;) Great saves, decent speed and Toronto lost

It's never fun losing to Ottawa. They've won as many Cups as we have since 1967 but their fans act so fucking superior.

Losing to Ottawa is one thing. But we lost to Montreal. Twice.

According to this blog they're "competitive". LOL

They had points in 7 straight games - I'd say that was competitive.

Yeah, 29th place in a league with 30 teams is sure competitive. Add in the fact they're the richest team in the league it seems..incredulous.

I don't imagine than Manchester fans would tolerate failure like this. Or Yankee's or Red Sox Fans.

Toronto does though.
