I like this vintage CFNY Spirit of Radio clip because it opens with a great deal of Chalk Circle love. Chalk Circle, celebrated in this clip for winning a CASBY in 1985, was the first band I ever saw live.
This Nick Charles clip closes with a promo for Streets of Ontario, a show that aired on CFNY every Sunday afternoon between 4 and 5. Streets of Ontario previewed "some of the best of the non-recording-big-time tours and all massive things like that but right down to earth independent releases".
