Leafs Make the Kessel Run in Less Than Twelve Parsecs

Leafs

TSN is calling it a done deal, and that's good enough for me.  Brian Burke has completed a trade with the Boston Bruins and Phil Kessel is finally a Toronto Maple Leaf.

According to the tweet I just received from Darren Dreger, we gave up a 1st and 2nd round draft pick in 2010 and another  1st round pick in 2011.  That's a mighty high price to pay, but Kessel is only 21-years old and coming off a career high 36 goals in 70 games with Boston.

Phil "The Thrill" Kessel is a nice addition to this team.  He'll play his first game for the blue and white this November as he's on the shelf following rotator cuff surgery.

Oh yeah, and he once made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.  That's pretty sweet.
