Brett Favre to Greg Lewis with 2 Seconds Left

NFLWhen Brett Favre retired the first time, I didn't like it. When he retired the second time, I still didn't like it, and I took heat for actually wanting him to make another comeback. I simply didn't want the ride to end.

Week 3 highlights offer convincing evidence as to why I was right for wanting Favre to keep playing. Favre took the Vikings 80 yards in 87 seconds before finding Greg Lewis in the back of the end zone for a 27-24 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

This is just sick.

He may be able to throw a football but he is still a horse's ass.

I hate it when althetes retire and then unretire and so on.

Retire once and be done with it. If football so defines your life that you cannot continue without it then you have much bigger problems than finding a team that needs you.

It's debatable whether Favre wanted to stay in green bay or if he was "pushed out" to make way for the younger guy (he was pushed). He had no choice but to retire (1st time) if wanted to move-on on his own terms..The jets were a last minute decision never a proper fit (2nd time)as a result...

I don't care how many times you retire and un-retire. F U if you tell me what to do in my career.

I love Favre.

That said, for every one of those amazing passes, he's also an INT highlight reel.
