XXXI'm so sick of hearing Auto-Tune on the top 40 charts. It all started with Cher and now it's out of control. Kanye was so much better before he went the Auto-Tune route, wasn't he?

I don't want to hear Auto-Tune in my music, but I love hearing it in my news. Michael Gregory has been Auto-Tuning the news for a few months now and I'm still digging it. Catch the first six songs here.

I'm going to defend Kanye for a minute based on the assumption that he got the autotune out of his system with 808s and Heartbreak. The album feels completely different compared to his other work (which is following the school to work cycle, with "GOOD Ass Job" supposedly being next after "Graduation"), so I hope it was purely experimental and he can just go back to what he does normally.

However, if he continues along the autotune route I'll be very disappointed. Was down in the States a few times in the last month and you can tell people are getting annoyed with it. With Jay-Z's "DOA" track (Death of Autotune) and him being close with Kanye, I have faith.
