Humble's a Lousy Blogger, But a Great Tweeter

twitterA few years ago, I built Humble Howard a blog at www.humblehoward.com and taught him how to use it. As the years went by, his posts were less and less frequent and you could tell he was starting to mail it in. Humble's a fine radio personality and host, but a lousy blogger.

He's recently taken to Twitter and he's damn good at that. He's a much better tweeter than blogger, so I recently added his most recent tweets to his site so there's actually updated content there.

Here are a few of Humble's recent tweets that had me chuckling.

Ed McMahon died which is sad because he never got a chance to punch Perez Hilton. Damm you grim reaper!

Happy Fathers Day. Like all Dads today, I'll be getting high and stopping into my local rub N tug and uh, sorry that's Daddy's inside voice!

Welcome to Wednesday. I just realized that if I play my cards right it'll soon be Thursday and I can begin my pre-weekend drinking. Yum!

Just had a flat tire near Gravenhurst. This the part in the movie where I'm eaten by hillbilly cannibals.

See Mike? That's one of the reasons I keep checking back. You keep things fresh and relevant. Back in the day, unemployment kept Humble happening on his blog and it was funny 'shite'. Now the man has a ton on the go and since I'm not into the whole twitter thing ( I have a real job, commitments and I'm not 14) so thank you for encapsulating Humble's brain farts - I really enjoyed it.

Could you weigh in on the whole City of Toronto stuff?

My bowel is in a knot for keeping my ideas in - please hurry or there could be a Neighbour John in the brewing!

I'm pretty sure the biggest twitter users are guys in their 30s.... definitely not the 14 year old crowd.

Re: the whole city of Toronto stuff, here's where I'm at with all that. This morning was my scheduled green bin and recycling bin pick up. It didn't happen, obviously, b/c I don't live in Etobicoke where they have contractors not on strike and actually doing their job.

My green bin and recycling bin are full. I'll be okay on the garbage front for a couple more weeks. I don't have a garage to store this stuff. My porch will start to stink, b/c it's hot as hell. If the strike drags on, I'm loading up the car and heading for the 905. Hazel can make sure my garbage gets picked up.

And please, no Neighbour John florching. That's just wrong.
