Hair Decisions and Hair Songs

scissors Back in January, I got a haircut. I got it cut pretty short. Then, I had an epiphany. I decided to grow my hair for one full year.

I've got pretty thick hair, so it didn't take long for me to alter this experiment. I decided I could get my hair cut, but I'd grow the top for a year. Now I'm wearing it short on the back and sides while growing it out on top. Sort of the anti-mullet.

I challenge myself with that idea everytime I shave my head: I'll grow it out for an entire year and see what happens.

I fail miserably every single time.

I did the "let it grow out for a year" challenge as well, as I had went all through high school (and more) with a shaved head. I ended up growing it out for just over 3 years before deciding to shave it all off again. Did that, regretted it after a month and I've been growing it out again ever since. That was December '07.. so i'm a little over the 1.5 year mark again. I don't plan on letting it get as long this time though, I'm looking at keeping it this length or maybe a little shorter, as soon as I can figure out what I want to do with it.
