Down Goes Brown isn't just the handle of a great Maple Leaf blogger I borrow gems from periodically, it's also a great call by Joe Bowen back in 1992 on The Fan 1430. Sylvain Lefebvre took on Rob Brown and "Down goes Brown! Down goes Brown!" was born.

I am kind of proud that if you type "down goes" into the google homepage, it now auto-fills "brown" as the first result, ahead of "frazier".

As a founding father, I'm always looking for interesting, frequently updated blogs. There are surprisingly few.

There are rumours on the internets that you're an Ottawa guy. I've been sitting on this story, because I know it could be devastating to your loyal Leaf fan following. But the people deserve to know the truth.

Just to be clear: While I was born in Australia (making me the web's greatest Australian hockey blogger), I am a thoroughly 100% Torontonian.

I just happen to be making a very temporary stop in Ottawa. Going on fifteen years or so. But I'm from Toronto. I'll be back any day now.
