Together Everyone Achieves More

LeafsI've got this poster on my office wall. It says "Together Everyone Achieves More". It's TEAM, get it?

It features a Leafs team from much earlier this decade. Svehla, Reichel, McCauley, Fitzgerald, Mogilny and Kaberle are seen congratulating themselves. Because together, everyone achieves more.

The Leafs have missed the playoffs for the fourth season in a row. I'm beginning to suspect this poster is one big lie.

Beleaf in What? Burke has not done anything to give me Beleaf yet.

In fact I think he Argied the deadline and i'm not confident of the Draft.

Nice use of "Argie" as a verb. Let's take this lingo mainstream!

Love it James!
I do disagree with you on Burke though - he has positioned himself very well for the draft, and that is where he makes his moves (see Pronger and the Sedins). Don't forget how the trade with Tampa meant nothing until he gets a lot for a little come draft day, if his ball doesn't fall in the right order.

Lew I hope your're right. 42 years of disappointment are weighing om my shoulders. I'm not an expert hockey guy by any means so I'm very likley wrong. And really hope I am but I've been disappointed so many times that i'm very cynical at the moment.

Argie that may be the best post you have ever made. Keep up the good work.

Getting back to Burkie (as the butt kissing media likes to refer to him) has done very little so far as GM. I dont expect much on trade day either.

This guy has had marginal success in the past and will not improve this team much over the years. I hope I'm wrong but I rarely am :)

James: Will you be my facebook friend?

Who knows, it might to a 'real' friendship.
