Marlies Final Two Games Mean Something

Published by Toronto Mike on April 9, 2009 @ 14:00 in Toronto Marlies

marliesThe Marlies lost in overtime last night. That gave us a point, but because the Syracuse Crunch only got a point, we hold a one point lead over them for the final playoff spot and we both have only two games to play.

We don't hold the tie breaker, so we've got to finish strong. Our last two games are tomorrow night and Saturday afternoon and both are here in Toronto. I'm attending both games, against Manitoba and Hamilton, respectively.

I'm pretty psyched, as Pogge has played well down the stretch and these games actually mean something. We control our own destiny, so we just have to win, baby.

Let me know if you're heading down to Richoh tomorrow or Saturday.
