Bell Beavers Killed Dead

Published by Toronto Mike on August 5, 2008 @ 16:30 in Miscellaneous

phoneIn February 2006, I caught a new spot for Bell featuring a couple of anthropomorphic beavers. I took note and wrote this entry because one of the beavers was voiced by Norm Macdonald, a dude who consistently makes me laugh and deserves a great deal better.

I figured the beavers were just for the winter Olympics, but they lingered. They lingered and lingered and have only just now been taken out back by Bell and shot. Dead.

It's time for Dirty Work 2.

I'm hoping they'll turn up in a Rogers ad wearing little powder blue sports coats. Now that would be cleaver marketing.

Bell has shot themselves in the foot over this one... I would stop what I was doing to watch a new commercial.

Did anyone else notice MacDonald's voice-over spot - for AT&T last year?

I noticed norm's voice. This is what got me wondering if he was still with Bell also, or if he had quit. I liked hearing "Frank" putting up with "Norm" and his idiocy, lol
