Cujo Returns to Leafs

Published July 1, 2008 @ 13:23 in Toronto Maple Leafs

leafsThe other day I asked why the hell not Cujo? Somebody has to back up Vesa Toskala next season, and I figured it may as well be Cujo who would sign for one year and wouldn't break the bank.

Clearly MLSE is still reading this blog because this afternoon goaltender Curtis Joseph agreed to a one-year deal with his former club.

Welcome back, Cujo.

Since a Coach's Corner last winter, I'm not much surprised by any of the Leafs' personnel moves. And I can cheer for Cujo as a returning back-up, I guess. Now what number will 'the' Finger wear?

On another note: I've posted a fairly new, if different, music listing of my own after following your SLS series. Browsed online and d/l Stuck for the Summer by PEI's Two Hours Traffic a week late. With all of our GTA poprockdance radio stations combined, something appears to be missing.

The Finger will wear #11, of course.
