Ticketmaster Couldn't Find Tickets That Matched My Request

Published by Toronto Mike on June 4, 2008 @ 12:41 in Toronto Bills

billsArmed with a secret password, today I tried to buy tickets to see the Buffalo Bills play at the stadium formerly known as SkyDome. You may recall I wrote all about this decision here.

I was unsuccessful. I didn't have a chance. I was set up ahead of time and started hammering away but Ticketmaster couldn't satisfy my demands.

I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

Mike, I had the same "lucky you" non-Nigerian email and attempted to purchase if only to scalp to the NFL nuts who think there will be a Ralph Wilson Stadium tailgate on Bremner Blvd.

Nada.

My guess is the same tie-wearing sushi eaters I see at Leaf games will be cheering "Please commence squishing the non-tetrapod chordates".

Ah well. You had a better shot at it than I did. Thanks for trying Mike. :)

Here's what boiled my potatoes.

The email said my block of tickets were going on sale at 12:00. I saw the password actually started working at 11:30, and already the tickets were gone in all freakin' price ranges.

What a tease.

Maybe you should have had an American Express card. I hear they can help you score tickets. At least that's what the TV tells me.

Too bad you couldn't get Peter Silverman to investigate this farce of a company that we call Ticketmaster. Unfortunately that won't happen because another nightmare Corporation is restructuring and making bad decisions.
