#6: Ignore the Suzuki type loonies and fire up the TV, Stereo, the DVD, dishwasher, washer & dryer, microwave……..

What a joke this is.

Earth hour will very little impact on anything. I can’t believe some people are actually buying into this crap. Too funny!

These world wide symbolic gestures serve one purpose. They increase awareness.

I think that's great. I already run around the house turning off lights and now, for one hour, it's sanctioned!

C'mon Argie, pull out the acoustic guitar and light a candle for one friggin' hour tomorrow night. Do it for me.

Some people just don't understand how much our world has changed (especially climate) the last 10 years.
Everyone MUST be aware of what may (WILL) happen in the years to come.
This is not crap Argie - this is reality. THe future3 of this planet depends on us & not our siblings who are going to suffer because we didn't react or do something about it. Every little thing helps.

You know for those of you who don't believe in global warming or climate change or protecting the environment, for one hour, think about protecting your wallet, your Gas and Electric bill will both not increase for one hour, doesnt that speak to you?

Earth Hour will not save the world. But used as an educational tool, it will promote conservation which will help our natural resources and yes, our wallets. Enjoy the candlelight (responsibly).

The best way to decrease electricity consumption is to deregulate the market and allow full-cost pricing. Of course the Grits and Dippers were all over Premier Eves when he tried that.
