I completely missed The Brit Awards this year. That's too bad because I always enjoy the Brits. In this new age of YouTube, however, all is not lost.
Rhianna mashed her hit "Umbrella" with the Klaxons "Golden Skans" and the result was pretty cool. Check this out.
I had this all on my site circa 24 hours before the CBC showed it. I thought it was really lame they showed it a day late. I actually like this song, and like the Klaxons, but this was one of the weaker performences of the night. Sir Paul and the Mark Ronson collabs were highlights. As for Miss Winehouse... she was alot more sober at the Grammys, seemingly.
This whole thing is another fine example ot how if people would abandon their traditional narrow sources for finding music the whole world would be a much better place and Nickelback would stop selling so many freaking records.
