We peppered 56 shots at Antero Niittymaki but it wasn't enough. Another night, another loss for the blue and white. We fell to 1-4-1 since goalie Vesa Toskala went down with a groin injury.
Sundin scored both Leafs goals, giving him 543 for his career. That moves him past Stan Mikita into sole possession of 25th place on the NHL's regular-season list. One more and he'll tie Maurice Richard.
My brother and I had an interesting debate about Sundin I'll open up to everyone later this morning. How's that for a teaser?
