A Sign I'm Getting Old

Published by Toronto Mike on January 8, 2008 @ 19:15 in Toronto Maple Leafs

clockAs I plan my week, I see the Leafs are in California to take on the Ducks, Kings and Sharks. That means the puck will drop after 10pm EST.

Normally that would mean late nights for me. Sometimes these west coasters won't end until after one in the morning. Now, I'm thinking differently. I'm thinking I'm good for one, maybe two periods, but I'll be waking up to learn the final scores.

It's another sign I'm getting old. Or, perhaps, I'm becoming sensible.

I agree with Chris, if we had a team that cared then it's a no-brainer...stay up and watch. But with the lack of heart that's put on the ice these days, looks like an early night. I don't think it's you getting older but just wiser...about the Leafs anyways.

It looks like you're sitting there watching an accident on the Gardiner.

Funny that the ACC should be at the Gardiner too...
