Maple Leafs 2, Bruins 4

LeafsWelcome to the NHL, Tuukka Rask. The better Rask played, the hotter JFJ's seat got. It's only a matter of time now...

Only moments after the final whistle blew on another blown opportunity I received an email from Mississauga Mike. He was crunching numbers and shared a spreadsheet that showed we've already left 10 attainable points on the table. It also shows we're winning games at a dismal 36.36% clip while our provincial rivals are doing so at a 84.21% rate.

Let's face it, Saturday night's 3-0 victory over the Sens was our Stanley Cup. No, it doesn't come with a parade or an actual Stanley Cup, but it's the best we're going to get this season. Chew on that Sens fans!

Ottawa: 32 pts
Toronto: 21 pts

Toronto has blown 10 points already, now look at how much better the Leafs would be in the standings had they not blown late leads (Boston, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, and the Sens games for starters).

Now instead of potentially being a top contender as a team who hangs on to leads, the Leafs have established a below-average record that may eventually keep them from the play-offs for a third straight season.

I kinda have to admire Leafs Fans.. they are very loyal.

All fans should be loyal. You can't just hop from bandwagon to bandwagon.

Seriously... sometimes you have to play the cards you're dealt. As a young boy, you naturally root for the home team. That loyalty doesn't go away because a team isn't successful.

I can't even imagine rooting for another team over the Leafs. I'd rather never win a cup while staying true to my team than jumping over to another team's bandwagon and winning it all. I'd rather keep my soul.
