These are my favorites characters as well, but I would put Tobias as my # 1. He was is one the most underrated actors of our generation. Then Chris, then Vern, then the rest. This was absolutely my favorite show, and I saw all six years when I was 16. It is a masterpiece. Why did you pick the order of the characters that you did? RSVP.

Maybe it's my Irish Catholic upbringing shining through with a bias, but it always seems Ryan O'Reily was the straw that stirred the drink. He was the cool cat, the one with the mojo.

I liked Beecher. I just saw the actor behind Toby in Generation Kill and it reminded me how much you liked Beecher. He could easily have been ranked 3rd on my list, it was that close.

I've been thinking a lot about this series lately and I think I'll score the DVDs and run through it again. I've actually never felt compelled to re-watch a series before, other than maybe The Simpsons or Seinfeld. This was something special.

My favourite five would be:
1)Tobias Beecher - you just wanted everything to work out for him.
2) Kareem Said - he truly believed in justice, even if the person's beliefs opposed that of his own.
3) Ryan O'Reily - he was the smartest man there.
4) Augustus Hill - he had real balls and was respected by everyone.
5) Simon Adebisi - how did he keep that hat on his head?
I loved the staff members Leo Glynn and McManus. Murphy had a beautiful accent.

Me again!
I think that J.K. Simmons (Vern) was an outstanding actor because he could make you hate him as much a Beecher did, but I still stand my ground at Beecher and his amazing journey. He shows what happens to an average man if you make one tragic mistake. Beneath that weak and kind of pathetic exterior, lurked what we all can become if placed into Oz. The only word for it is Crazy.
