TV Sucks

tvFor the most part, TV sucks. I'm so tired of the Law & Orders and typical dramas and sitcoms. Right now I'm only following two series: John From Cincinnati and Flight of the Conchords.

There are, however, a few other series I follow that will be airing new episodes soon. Weeds, a Showtime series, is airing new episodes in the USA next week. Showcase, which carries the show on this side of the border, will start season three in the fall.

Another US cable series I follow is Rescue Me, which started airing season four a couple of months ago. Showcase will air these new episodes in the fall as well. Why Showcase chooses to make us wait is beyond me, but I'm sure there's a method to their madness.

Finally, Curb Your Enthusiasm is set to air season six in September as well. TMN will air this series simultaneous with HBO. Here's a very cool list of celebrities that have appeared on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

There ya have it. Throw in The Simpsons and The Office and that's about it for me. As I said, for the most part, TV sucks.

Mike I would agree with you TV is awful, soo much bad "reality" tv which isnt even "reality" for most common people...Its so dumbed down, even CNN and Headline News put on these awful reporters trying to be larry king. Nancy GRace is an example, she is so stupid for a CNN person its pathetic. Her interviews are one sided and shes snobbish. I actually find myself watching Survivor Man on Discovery and some of the science channels, aside from that...Im all over the Daily Show and the Colbert Report.

True, Deadwood was good. But so was Six Feet Under and The Sopranos.

I like the Daily Show and Colbert Report when I catch it, and whatever doc they're airing on The Passionate Eye or whatever.

You know what I miss on my TV in Buffalo....CBC and CTV...I have satellite and the Satellite doesnt get either one in Western New York...CAble, does carry both of those. Why is that? I has made me was to get Canadian Satellite Dish and bring it down here.....I would go back to CAble but Time Warner is so damn expensive, The Dish is about $20-30 cheaper every month. I miss Hockey Night in Canada

Canadian TV blows goats. All CTV and Global do is hijack American networks. It's sad.
