"Colin James - Why'd You Lie"

Yes!! That is my all time favourite CJ tune! I think "Keep On Loving Me Baby" is another great rocking track.

Why'd You Lie is the Colin James track that haunts me. I too think it's his best work.

Other Colin James gems include "Voodoo Thing", "Five Long Years", "Chicks And Cars And The Third World War" and "Just Came Back".

Of course, Why'd You Lie is actually a cover of a Morgan Davis tune.

CanCon Song Dump #4 is ready to rock, but I'm holding on to it until Tuesday.

I've got to pace myself a bit if we're going to stretch this into June.

I wasn't aware that it was a cover, but I'm not surprised, those blues guys love paying homage to their prededcessors. Does this mean the tune isn't eligible for the top 100? Was Morgan Davis Canadia?

From what I understand, Morgan Davis has chosen Canada as his homeland and place to play, but he's actually American.

I think this will disqualify "Why'd You Lie" from this very important contest.

All 100 tunes should be performed and written by a Canadian.

Agreed.
