The Mighty Hercules - Search of the Golden Apples

tvOn the heels of my entry about The Mighty Hercules, a cartoon I enjoyed in the early and mid-eighties, I've found a much better clip on YouTube.

This one has the great theme song by Johnny Nash, the voice of Newton I remember so clearly and that great animation when Hercules puts on his ring. In fact, I remember this episode well.

Classic! That guy on Mount Olympus Zedonis? He must have been the first couch potato. He never left his seat in front of that Crystal Rock (otherwise known as LCD). I wonder if he used a universal remote.

Herc needs to put on some underwear though. How many peasants do you suppose he flashed every time he jumped down from Olympia? Yeesh. :)

I watched this too. Pure cheese. It's amazing what entertained us kids back then. Those bad guys gave up sooo easily didn't they? lol. Love the way Herc & Newton fly, lol. What a blast from my childhood past & a welcome giggle. :)
