My Left Thumb

Since this thing is all about me, I'm going to write about my left thumb.

I jammed it during the first game of a slo-pitch double-header back on July 28, 2006. I know that's the date because I blogged about it. It was essentially unusable during the second game and it hurt like hell for weeks afterwards.

I kept waiting for my thumb to feel normal again, where I could actually bend it and use it as more than a decorative appendage. I'm still waiting. It's been well over six months and, although it's feeling much better, it still doesn't work like it used to.

I feel better just complaining about it. Thanks for reading.... or not.
