Maple Leafs 4, Sabres 5

LeafsAt 11pm last night, Buffalo Boy was already rubbing salt in the wounds.

Holy cow what a meltdown the Leafs had last night, I of course was jumping through my ceiling in amazement as the Sabres took it to them and tore them apart in the third. To quote a Freddie P Acronym, ARRRGHHH for you! YEAH for ME!

A meltdown, indeed. Who didn't have the two points on the board? I was thinking about the sweep, creeping into 7th, an opening round against the Devils, a team we've been beating.

Wow. I'm still stunned. 11th place sucks.

That game sums up the season. False hope, mediocrity, overpaid defence, inconsistent goaltending, and basically a non playoff team.

AS much as I am rubbing salt in I still want to see the leafs make it. It is a lot of fun watching these two teams play. No matter who wins its a fun atmosphere. Tonight is another night
