I wanted four points from the past two games, and I got one. You'd think I'd be used to this team short changing me by now. Who the hell is Jaroslav Halak?
Enough talk, let's get to what matters. We're 10th in the East with 78 points because the 9th place Islanders have a game in hand. We've got a game on the Canadiens, who also have 78 points, and we're just a point back of the 8th place Rangers and two points back of the 7th place Hurricanes. Did I mention we have a game in hand on Carolina? 6th place to 11th place is currently separated by a whopping four points.

You know as a Buffalo Fan first, and leafs 2nd I feel for LEafs fans, I hate hearing negative press out of my favorite city in the world. However, Im starting to see that maybe it would be better if the Leafs just gave up on this season and went for a nice draft pick. As you are all saying this team is not playoff ready. It would be an embarassment if this team made it to round one and had to face the Sabres or Devils who would crush them with either the Sabres speed or the Devils goaltending and defence. either way the LEafs are not fast and have no goaltending to stop the Sabres and they certainly dont have the offense to do anything substantial against the Devils. Ship Sundin off in the offseason, ship off Tucker new contract or not and start building this team through the draft. And Fire your general manager. he should have been fired for picking up YAnic at the trade deadline!
