Hockey Night In Canada Stays at CBC

The CBC and NHL announced a new television deal Monday that will keep Hockey Night in Canada on the air until 2014.
When they lost the Grey Cup, I wondered if the CBC would lose Hockey Night In Canada as well. I can adapt to anything, and I can punch up channel 30 as quickly as I can punch up channel 6, but I like the idea of Hockey Night In Canada airing on the CBC. If that makes me a socialist colour me pink!

Damn it. I thought this was going to be the end of government controlled media. I guess TalibanTV, I mean the CBC will survive a bit longer.
