Maple Leafs 4, Flyers 2

LeafsThe Leafs could use a little luck. Last night, Peter Forsberg skated for Philadelphia in the warmups but was traded to Nashville before the game, so we got a bad team without their best player.

We chased Philadelphia goaltender Michael Leighton from the game after one period and held on for the big win. It moved us into a tie for eighth with the Islanders and Habs. Did I mention we have a game in hand over the Habs? It's true, and Carolina is only a point ahead.

I'm really looking forward to the ceremony on Saturday night to honour our last Stanley Cup winning team from 1967. With Dave Keon in the house, this is going to be something special.
