The First Jingle Sounds Sweetest

My first born child is performing in his first school Christmas concert tonight. He's been practising his performance of Jingle Bells and I'm proud to say they're going with the beloved alternative lyrics regarding Batman's odour and Robin's egg production. Some things never change.

This novelty will no doubt wear off one day and these things will become chores or a duty a parent has to perform, but today I'm excited. Today I'm actually looking forward to hearing the little dude belt out his song in front of a full auditorium. Here's hoping I always feel this way.
