Breakfast with Scot

movies"Breakfast With Scot" is a movie starring Tom Cavanaugh and currently filming in the GTA. Did I mention Tom Cavanaugh is playing an ex-Toronto Maple Leaf who just happens to be gay?

The NHL and Maple Leafs have blessed the project which means Cavanaugh will be wearing an official Leafs jersey and the logo for Canada's team will be well represented. I can't recall another movie featuring the Leafs.

"Breakfast With Scot" will hit theatres in late 2007. Start the Oscar buzz now!

What about Face Off - 1971 hockey movie starring Art Hindle & a lot of Leafs including Jim McKenny who did the skating scenes for Art. Derek Sanderson had a large part in the movie as well.

I was on the set on Friday...seems to be going well although Tom cavanaugh's skating leave a little to be disired

Why is toronto considered 'Canadas team? what about all the other teams in Canada? Montreal? Calgary? Edmonton? Vancouver? Ottawa? Aren't they 'Canada's Teams' too? or are the just not important?

Toronto isn't the only Canadian team but T.O is a gay=friendly city and the Leafs has blessed the project so... Go Leafs :-)

Coming a little late to the party here (ok, a LOT late), but the Leafs were kinda-sorta featured in Lethal Weapon 3. They were the visiting team playing the LA Kings when the badguy gets chased across the ice by Mel Gibson.

Like I said, kinda-sorta.
