LeafsO Captain! My Captain! Shorthanded in overtime, Sundin beat Miikka Kiprusoff with a long blast to complete the hat trick and reach the 500 goal milestone. It was also his 15th career overtime goal, an NHL record.

We're getting our money's worth out of Leaf games this season. Six games into the season, the past four have gone into overtime. We haven't lost in regulation since that terrible home opener against the Sens.
