509: Bandwidth Limit Exceeded
Published by Toronto Mike on September 1, 2006 @ 08:03 in Ch-ch-changes
At some point early yesterday morning, the company that hosts this site realized I was way over my bandwidth limit. In a bold attempt to extract some more coin from me, they threw up a 509: Bandwidth Limit Exceeded error and took me down for the remainder of the month. Luckily, it was August 31st and I decided to ride it out for 20 or so hours.
Here's the problem. The traffic to this site is more than I anticipated, so something has to give or this sucker will be offline for the last half of September. Nobody wants that. So, I'm going to plan B, and I've got to get there fast.
Sorry for the outage. Welcome to September.

If you're real desperate for a plan b, I can always temporarily host your blog until things get sorted out. I doubt, strongly, even you could manage to hit over 1200 GB of bandwidth. And if you do... well, then I'm afraid you may find yourself hard pressed for a shared host that'll take you. I love the site, so hey, if it helps... :-)
