My Last.fm 10
Published by Toronto Mike on April 26, 2006 @ 14:14 in Lists, Music
It's been about two years since I installed the Audioscrobbler plug-in to track the tunes I play on my computer. This thing operates so far under the radar I totally forget about it. My personal Last.fm page has been keeping track of every song I've played since then (42952 total) and it tells an interesting tale.
Below, in order, are the bands I've played on my PC the most often since May 13th, 2004.
- Nirvana - 1916 spins
- Pearl Jam - 1908 spins
- The Tragically Hip - 1613 spins
- Public Enemy - 1031 spins
- Beastie Boys - 852 spins
- Neil Young - 625 spins
- Custom - 600 spins
- The White Stripes - 586 spins
- Radiohead - 485 spins
- System of a Down - 458 spins

There are rumors that the RIAA is auditing last.fm playlists and users. I stopped using it a while back because of this.
