Warmest Winter Ever

Published March 13, 2006 @ 21:40 in The T.Dot

SunWe hit 13°C in the T.Dot today. When our snowman of December 10 melted over the Christmas break, I promised James we'd make another. A Canadian winter has to be good for a heavy snowfall or two or three in January and February, right? Not this year...

It's officially the warmest Canadian winter on record. "Statistically, in an unchanging climate, Canada could expect a winter anomaly like this winter's about every 100 years," Environment Canada reported earlier today.

If this is global warming I say let 'er cook. I rarely had to shovel the driveway and walk, there was no difficulty driving and I haven't had to wear my gloves and hat in months. It's been a mild winter and the only casualty was poor ol' Frosty.
