CrossIt's 1-0 Russia late in the third period. Lord, please use your omnipotent power to guide us to victory. This sport defines us as a nation, and should we lose in the quarter-finals, I fear we will be crushed.

I had a feeling we wouldn't win this one. The Russians played the full 60 minutes. The Canadians considered flickering an eyelash when they were scored against the first time. Only when things started to look desperate did they decide to really play, but by then it was too late.

Sounds a lot like our Leafs at times, eh? Sigh.
