Maple Leafs 4, Sharks 5

The Leafs let a 3-1 first period lead evaporate, playing a brutal second period on route to a loss in their first game against a Western Conference opponent. We're now 0-2 when the Boon brothers get together to watch the blue and white.
Mats Sundin drew an assist on Tucker's goal, giving him 769 points as a Leaf. That bumps him past Borje Salming into third on the all-time Leafs list. Dave Keon (858) and Darryl Sittler (916) are next on Mats' hit list.
