A couple of power play goals gave Leaf fans a badly needed two points for Christmas. As the league takes a two night breather we find ourselves tied with Tampa Bay for seventh in the conference. Montreal has a point on us and a couple of games in hand.
If we finish eighth in this conference, and there's a good possibility exactly that happens, we'll likely face the Senators in round one. Neither Senator fans or Leaf fans want that. Trust me...
