In the absence of NHL hockey and my Toronto Maple Leafs, I've been recapping St. John's Maple Leaf AHL action all season. We're well past the mid-way point now, yet I've never written about Carlo Colaiacovo, our great blue line prospect. He's had a rather quiet season, battling to stay healthy. Yesterday, however, he scored at 2:29 of overtime to lead the St. John's Maple Leafs to a 3-2 win over the Grand Rapids Griffins.
