St. John's Maple Leafs 2, Syracuse Crunch 6

Every once in a while, you're going to lay an egg. By all accounts, the Maple Leafs stunk last night in their tenth and final game of a lengthy road trip. Still, 7-3 during that road trip is pretty awesome.
Today's Toronto Star has an article that suggests these Leafs might become the Toronto Marlies when they come here next season. I previously endorsed St. Pats, Baby Leafs and Buds as my preferred names for the team, but I like the historical value of Marlies in much the same way I like the historical value of St. Pats. Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment has admitted the name is on their short list and has already registered http://www.torontomarlies.ca.
